I'll be back

No, this is not the end of Nicole and her blog... i promise!! I still compose imaginary blog posts that never actually make it to the internet because of my lack of internet access. There has been lots to write about though. My sister got married, my gardens have been flourishing and the weeds even more so. Two of my Five chickens were eaten (by racoons!!) but the other three are thriving and giving me at least 3 eggs a day. That is plenty for us and we're still able to give a few away here and there. I would still like some more chickens though. I think at the end of the summer (when they are done laying) i'll butcher these and then next spring will get a bigger and more diverse flock. I have been letting them out during the day and it works great. They always come back and even lay their eggs at home. And they never come to the flower gardens. They do like the veggie garden for their dust baths but haven't really hurt anything so I don't bug them. I have tons of pics. I wish that I took more before and after pictures of my gardens. There's still tons of weeding to do though so there might be a few coming. I really want to get back to this blog but haven't found a regular schedule when I can get to the library or any place that has internet. When school starts again I will make sure the posts are more regular.
Thanks for checking in once in a while. I hope there will be lots more interesting stuff here for you to read in the future.

Hannelle and I are the oddest friends. We love eachother and have for years but have hardly anything in common. It's the oddest thing. I'm not really a colourful person... I prefer the browns etc. Hannelle is the brightest and most colourful person I know. That's just one example.
